Completed Furniture Projects

This project involved a curved reception counter built for a technology start-up occupying a converted Georgian building near Clifton. The brief called for a piece that would soften the room's period features without hiding them, so we used birch plywood carcasses with a walnut veneer front panel.

Cable routing for a monitor and phone charger was built into the rear of the counter, and a low shelf on the visitor side holds leaflets and sign-in tablets. Installation took two days and was scheduled around the client's client meetings.

A legal practice in central Bristol needed a main conference table to replace a piece that no longer matched their refurbished meeting room. We built a 3.4 metre table in oak veneer with a routed cable channel down the centre, allowing laptops to connect without cables crossing the surface.

The table seats twelve and was matched in tone to the room's existing panelling, using samples approved by the client before manufacture began. Delivery and assembly were completed on site in one day.

A co-working operator near the harbourside needed forty new desks and additional locker storage without closing the space during the week. We built bench-style desks in a durable laminate finish, each fitted with an integrated power and USB module.

A wall of 60 personal lockers was installed alongside the desks. The full fit-out, including removal of the old furniture, was completed over a single weekend, with the space open to members again on Monday morning.

A university department in Bristol commissioned eighteen individual study carrels for a postgraduate reading room. Each carrel is built from MDF with a scratch-resistant laminate top, chosen for its resistance to daily wear from books, laptops and coffee cups.

Every unit includes a lockable drawer for personal items, a feature requested after feedback from returning students. The carrels were delivered flat-packed and assembled on site over three days during term break.

This was a second commission for a client we first worked with in 2024. After leasing an additional floor in the same building, the company asked us to extend their existing furniture scheme rather than start from scratch.

We built six executive desks in ash veneer with matching credenzas, replicating the joinery details and finish of the original order so the new floor reads as part of the same fit-out. The work was completed in four days.

A small design studio in Bedminster, working from a converted warehouse, needed shelving that could fit around a sloped ceiling line without wasting the available wall space. We built an open-frame steel and oak unit measured directly against the roofline.

The finished piece includes a fold-down sample table for reviewing material swatches and a pull-out plan chest at the base for storing large-format drawings flat.
